Today morning, I went to the GP to get flu-shot. Earlier, I did not think about getting it but the COVID in December made us sick and I would not like to get infected with the flu as well. A lot of people are sick around me, so it is better safe than sorry I think. Besides this event, there was another one, which was annoying. It has been the third time that the check-engine lamp appeared on the dashboard. When this happens, the the performance of the engine gets reduced and I need to restart the car to set it back to normal and the light goes off.
However, the light did not go off today, so I took it to the service. Fortunately they had some time to take a look at it and they told me that the gas pedal sensor was broken. They deleted the error message and the performance came back but we agreed on taking the car back if the problem comes back more frequently. We still use it as long as it becomes totally useless. When that happens, it is still possible to use it but it goes slowly, at limited speed. It is just why should I spend on it if it works?
