I think the governments are already promoting environmental conservation, but what they are doing is not enough. They should do much more. But let us see what they are doing. First of all, some European countries use wind turbines to produce energy, which is environmentally friendly. When I enter Austria, I can see a lot of wind turbines as opposed to Hungary, where there are hardly any, which is very sad. The Hungarian government does not really care about wind energy. It supports solar energy under very strict conditions, as if it were not completely determined. In other European countries, these types of sources of energy are widely used.
Another thing that our government supports is the production of electric cars, but I do not think it is in the interest of the environment but in the interest of profit. Additionally, my country is dependent on atomic energy, just like many other countries, which I understand – atomic energy is not necessarily bad and it can be harnessed safely if the technology meets the safety measures. Nonetheless, the governments should recognize that we have only one planet and we have to take care of it because this is our habitat. The planet is more important than profit.
