Today, my topic is politics again. The Orbán cabinet accuses Brussels of neglecting the protection of the EU’s borders and implementing the Soros plan. The EU affairs state secretary criticized the head of European border agency Frontex for stating that nothing can stop people from crossing borders. The state secretary emphasized Hungary’s consistent immigration policy and its refusal to become an immigrant country. They highlighted the importance of Hungary’s sovereignty and border protection. In response to an opinion piece promoting mass immigration, the state secretary for international communication and relations argued that mass immigration is the problem, not the solution. They emphasized the ability to fill workforce gaps without compromising societal and cultural foundations.
I agree with the accusation. Brussels has never put much effort into protecting the external borders of the EU. I do not even see the point of having this Frontex agency because it does not seem to do much. What is more, if a border agency states that nothing can stop people from crossing borders, than the agency like this should not even exist at all. Basically, it cannot complete its primary goal, protecting the borders. So countries which do not want to become immigrant countries have no other choice but to resist. In my opinion, the solution would be a united, strong, military-based border agency operated by all EU members.
