Today I wanted to feel more productive, so I went to the gym early in the morning. I had skipped a week because we were visiting my hometown for a holiday, but that didn’t really matter — missing one week is fine.
After the gym, I went to the bank because I decided to switch back to my old one. I realized it’s more convenient to have both our joint accounts and my personal ones at the same branch.
When I got home, the delivery service called to say they were bringing the furniture we had ordered from Jysk. The day was turning out to be more productive than I expected. The only issue was that I could only pay in cash, so I had to head back into the city center to withdraw some money from the ATM.
Since I was already near Tesco, I asked my wife if I should shop for anything, but she said it was better if I came home. Another delivery guy from my hometown might call about a package for my mum — that’s a whole separate story.
Anyway, the delivery arrived, and together we carried the bed for our little girl’s room and the cabinet for the living room upstairs. Now it’s my job to assemble them — under my wife’s supervision, of course.
Looks like it’s going to be a busy weekend!
