Today we traveled to my hometown — a little getaway just before the birth. It felt like a way to release some pressure and take a breath before the big moment.
On our way to Sátoraljaújhely, we stopped in Budapest at a baby shop to buy our new stroller — a Cipolino Maribell in pink. We specifically wanted pink because it’s just so cute!
Unfortunately, it wasn’t in stock, so they had to order it for us. We were a bit disappointed, but in the end, it worked out — at least we didn’t have to squeeze such a big item into the trunk. We’ll just pick it up on our way back to Székesfehérvár.
Sometimes things don’t go as planned, but if you stay flexible, you can adjust — and often, things work out even better later on.
