Nature on the Brink: Endangered Species and Human Impact

Whales are not far from complete destruction. Climate change is forcing them to move away from their natural habitats, and the resulting stress and discomfort may negatively affect their fertility.

Poaching is another serious threat that must be strictly punished and constantly controlled. Thousands of elephants die and suffer due to the greed of poachers.

Sea turtles are in the same boat as whales. Climate change pushes them into unfamiliar areas, where they become vulnerable to predators.

The number of tigers is also decreasing. As cities expand, tigers are driven away from their habitats and into areas with fewer herbivores. This lack of prey leads to starvation and eventually extinction.

Gorillas face similar dangers. Unregulated hunting is pushing them toward extinction. This crisis must be addressed seriously — poachers must be found and punished.

Even some species of butterflies are endangered because people collect them for their beauty. This is yet another problem that needs to be solved to preserve our planet’s biodiversity.
