I have found an article about four children who survived in the dense Colombian jungle for more than two weeks after a small plane crash that killed three adults.
I consider it a miracle that they survived the airplane crash. It is one of the worst ways to die, but they made it through somehow. Even after surviving such a traumatic event, they must have still been in shock as they found themselves stuck in the jungle. But I believe that no matter how harsh and dangerous the environment was, it was meant to be, and fate had blessed them with survival.
They must have shared the same thought: that God was looking out for them and granting them strength and courage to make it through. If one has hope, it can serve as a guiding light during difficult times. Hope is an unstoppable force.
I think the presence of hope and a positive mindset can be powerful motivators during challenging times. Believing that they were being watched over or guided by a higher power may have given them strength and comfort in the face of adversity. It’s not uncommon for individuals in dire circumstances to draw upon their faith or spirituality as a source of solace and determination.
So I believe the divine gave them hope that they were safe in the jungle, but to survive out there, you also need to have some surviving skills and a bit of luck. Being mindful of the dangers of the wilderness could mean the difference between life and death.
