Today, we took our baby to the pediatrician. She gave her the shots she had to get and one extra one for rotavirus. We are lucky that we live in an era where all these necessary vaccines are available. Hundreds of years ago, many children died of diseases that we can cure nowadays.
After this procedure and a consultation, I took my wife to a shopping area because she wanted to buy some paper straws. Even a brief interval such as this allows her to temporarily disengage from her thoughts. In the meantime, I was waiting in the car with the baby. She immediately had fallen asleep after administering the vaccine by the way. We will keep monitoring her temperature tonight.
After the shopping, we went home and now we are enjoying our evening with a sometimes fuzzy baby.
