It is Friday. I had two substitution classes, both of them were PE classes. Honestly, I could not and would not be a PE teacher. I just do not have that kind of controlling personality. And PE classes are something that need serious control. Managing 30 students at the gym is exhausting. Well, the students in our school are extremely undisciplined, so no wonder it is hard. I removed all equipment from the gym that they could play with and guess what they did. They started throwing their shoes at each other.
Other than that I survived these classes with volleyball. They did not like it – of course, each of them wanted to do different things – but at least the time passed quickly.
In the late evening, I went back to the school because I still did some work and I had to help the PE teachers with their 24 hour long volleyball competition. I supervised for 1 hour, had some fun with the students but of course it did not last long because they violated the rules and they played football in a classroom, breaking things and denying having done that.
My shift ended with some students banned from the event.
