If I could do that, I would probably merge a cat and a dog. Most people like either cats or dogs so merging these animals together would be a good fit for everyone. What is more, it would only solve the problem for those who cannot decide on what to have: a cat or a dog.
A cat-dog combination would be a unique and versatile pet. It could have the independence and grace of a cat, combined with the loyalty and playfulness of a dog. But how could this hybrid pet behave and interact with you and others?
Well, the intelligence of the dog and the gracefulness of the cat would result in a perfect playmate.
I think the friendliness of this hybrid could make it easy to make friends and socialize with other animals.
Since this pet would be intelligent, it would definitely enhance the communication and social abilities of other animals too. It would teach them how to express themselves more effectively in the language of the animals. Nothing would beat this hybrid as an animal teacher.
I am not sure it could communicate with humans though, because it would be developed within the limits of a pet and its intelligence would still be restricted by the intelligence of a dog or a cat.
