This morning, I had to take our car in for service. Fortunately, it only needed an air filter and pollen filter replacement. I prefer addressing issues bit by bit rather than all at once—it’s easier on the wallet. Taking care of things step by step makes more sense financially, at least for me.
Meanwhile, my wife thinks we need a second, larger vehicle. I’m leaning toward a Suzuki Grand Vitara, mainly because it’s relatively cheap to maintain—at least as far as I know. However, she believes a microbus would be more practical for our needs. Honestly, I don’t mind either way, but if we go for the microbus, I’d prefer a petrol engine. Diesel vehicles just have too many components that can break down, and petrol engines are generally easier and cheaper to repair. We’ll see how that unfolds.
After the car service, we went to our district nurse for a routine check-up with our little girl. Thankfully, everything looks good.
Later, I went for my aerobic walk. I’m hoping it helps me shed the extra weight I picked up over the Easter holiday. I also hope it aids my recovery, as I’m still not feeling 100%.
Taking care of things gradually—whether it’s car maintenance or your health—can be more sustainable and less stressful than trying to fix everything at once.
