Today, we went to the gynecologist. There was this heartbeat-test before we had a consultation though. Fortunately, everything seems fine. The doctor mentioned my wife’s wobbly walking, which according to my wife herself, is funny. But I always remind her that only a few weeks more and she would feel much lighter and revitalized once our little girl is out.
Moments like these make me realize how close we are to a completely new chapter in our lives. Each appointment feels like a checkpoint on a long journey, giving us reassurance and a sense of progress. The heartbeat isn’t just a medical measurement – it’s a sound that ties us emotionally to our daughter before we’ve even met her. And while the physical strain is obvious for my wife, I know it’s also building a deeper bond between us, as we share these final weeks of waiting, wondering, and imagining the days ahead.
