A Lesson in Used Car Ownership

Today I took our “new” car — well, new to us — to the service station for an oil change and a general check-up. After looking through the service book, I realized the oil had already been changed just 4,000 kilometers ago, so the extra oil change wasn’t really necessary. If only I had checked the records earlier! Still, no harm done.

The mechanics said our Opel Insignia was a solid choice. I know a lot of people complain about this model online, but I believe the history of a car matters more than its reputation. This one has clearly been well taken care of, and that gives me peace of mind. Of course, any car can break down — that’s just how it goes — but a clean history definitely makes a difference.
