Are you a coffee or a tea person?

I wasn’t much of a coffee drinker before, though I think it was my wife’s influence that had me starting up. I began to see it as a necessity for my job, where I need to remain mentally focused. This would make me a coffee person.

Though on the weekends, I don’t really need a mental boost so I don’t drink it on those days, other than maybe when we’d be travelling and I need to stay awake for the duration.

I find that a cup of coffee can offer me a mild enhancement in mental clarity and processing, though only a slight one.

I make my own coffee the way I like it. I start by boiling some water, then I mix it with the right amount of coffee, milk, and sweeteners.

I know it may sound odd, but I actually like the convenience of 3-in-1 coffee mixes better than fresh coffee made from beans. The taste of that is just a bit too intense for me.

These days, I rarely drink tea. But, when I do, I only like it cold and prefer fruit teas. For a half litre of tea, I use two filters and add a bit of lemon concentrate to sweeten it.

So basically, I am a coffee person in the morning and I am a tea person at night.
