Cabinets, Curiosity, and a Bit of Ironing

Today was another productive day. After breakfast, I got to work assembling a new cabinet for the living room. Until now, we’d been storing food in a small chest of drawers out on the balcony, but with the weather changing, we decided it’s better to keep the food inside. So now, the cabinet in the living room will hold our food, and the chest on the balcony will be used for tools and bathroom supplies.

Putting the cabinet together took quite a bit of time. It wasn’t the easiest job, but thankfully, my wife helped me through the tricky parts. She guided me on how to drill, fit, and secure the pieces properly. Once we got it assembled, I placed it in its spot and started filling it up, while she was doing the ironing nearby.

Later, we got hungry and decided to order some food. After we ate, I continued organizing things, and then headed to the gym — that makes it my third workout this week, so I’ve earned a day off tomorrow.

We also talked about our little girl’s new bed. My wife had been testing it by sleeping on it, and tonight it might be my turn. I’m actually curious to try it out. If she doesn’t fall asleep on it tonight, I’ll give it a go. We’ll see how it feels.
