The Hungarian government is investing HUF 20 billion in a subsidy program for workers’ housing. Over 25-30 new accommodations will be built, each housing 80-200 people. Strict criteria are in place to prioritize Hungarian workers, with sanctions for failing to meet quotas. Despite efforts to limit immigration, the number of foreign workers, especially third-country nationals, is increasing.
I would appreciate it if the funds allocated for housing were invested in Hungarian families. Considering the emphasis placed by the Hungarian government on the importance of Hungarian families, why not construct economical housing options for families instead? These houses could be made affordable through manageable installment plans.
