Contrasts of joy and sorrow

I read on Gulf News that The Sheikh Zayed Festival in Abu Dhabi’s Al Wathba area had marked the New Year 2024 with a spectacular celebration that broke four Guinness World Records. The festivities included a 40-minute fireworks display, which set records for quantity, time, and formation. Additionally, a drone show featuring over 5,000 drones achieved a new Guinness World Record for the largest aerial logo during a 60-minute presentation. The event also showcased laser shows, folklore performances, and various activities at different locations within the festival grounds, such as the Heritage Village and Children’s City. The festival, featuring international pavilions and cultural parades, will continue until March 9, providing visitors with diverse entertainment and dining experiences.

I have no problem with and I like fireworks. The only thing I wold like to highlight here is the sharp contrast between some locations in this planet: people are killing each other in Ukraine and in the Gaza Strip while other people are celebrating with champagne on parties in other places. Again, I do not want to make you feel guilty but this contrast is very sad. Humanity should be more aware that all humans belong to the same species and killing each other means that humanity is killing itself. It is suicide. I know, people have been killing each other since they appeared on this planet but I wonder when will humans become more responsible for each other? If never, then no religion or prophet or political leader can ever change them.
