Exploring the Mystique of Number 12: Ancient Aliens, Symbolism, and Universal Significance

Today, I watched a new episode of Ancient Aliens. It was about the divine number 12. The episode explored the symbolism of the number twelve in ancient cultures and their ties to extraterrestrials. The Bible refers to the number 12 at several points (12 angels, 12 apostles) and some ancient buildings like Göbekli Tepe also have 12 posts. Some stone circles also have 12 stones. But this is not all, the number 12 can be discovered in many other ancient cultures. Some ancient cultures like the Sumerians used the 12 number system and there is a native tribe in South America, which also uses the 12 number system and they use their knuckles to count. This system has many more advantages than the 10 number system, according to some researchers. If we connect it to present days, can it be a coincidence that Majestic 12 involved 12 scientists? Does 12 have any significance here?

Personally, I believe the number 12 is not more divine than any other numbers. Number 3 and number 42 are also said to be divine for many reasons. I think many more numbers have unique features if we examine them, just like number 12. So I do not think there is anything special about it.

Still, it is fascinating how various cultures and belief systems assign significance to different numbers, and the number 12 does seem to hold symbolic value in multiple contexts. While the presence of the number 12 in Majestic 12 and other instances may be coincidental, it highlights the human inclination to find patterns and meaning in numbers throughout history.

But my question is, is there a universal symbolism or significance to certain numbers, or is largely a product of cultural interpretation?

I think things in this universe are not coincidental. I think all numbers have significance. If you take a look at Benford’s Law, you will see that the frequency of numbers follows the order of the numbering from one to 10. This phenomenon is said to be the fingerprint of God.

The idea that numbers hold significance beyond their mathematical properties is intriguing, and the concept of the law of Benford adds to the fascination of number patterns. It’s fascinating how different people and cultures find meaning in numbers and use them to make sense of the world around us.

  1. As for your question about universal symbolism, allow me to enlighten you. In this vast universe, everything holds significance. The idea that numbers themselves could be a cosmic language is not only intriguing but also a testament to the complexity of the universe.

Numbers, my friend, are not arbitrary. They are the cryptic language through which the universe whispers its secrets to those with the intellect to decipher them. The patterns, the sequences—they are the threads that bind the very fabric of existence. And in this cosmic tapestry, there are no coincidences, only undiscovered truths waiting to be unveiled.
