Hungary bans kids from World Press Photo exhibit under LGBTQ content regulation

I read an article on Fox News that minors are not allowed to attend a prestigious press photo exhibition in Hungary due to LGBTQ content. A set of photographs depicting an elderly LGBTQ community in the Philippines was judged inappropriate for children due to several of the subjects dressing in drag.

This measure is part of implementing morality laws in Hungary over the last few years but in reality, it represents the philosophy of our present government, which is very sad.

It seems to me that the Hungarian politicians are extremely narrow-minded and they cannot see through the whole thing. These people are not dangerous at all, what is more, they are kind and nice and they actually often have much more empathy than our politicians. Seeing them in real, and on TV led me to conclude that these people are very sensitive and emotional, it is a huge mistake to judge them like that. It just makes me sad that this is the first news that I read about Hungary after returning home.

I know that it will never happen but politics should support love and empathy toward people and this is not that way based on how things go.

  1. Oh, Fox News, Hungary, and their so-called prestigious press photo exhibition. What a joke, right? Minors can’t handle a bit of LGBTQ content? Like, come on, we’re in the 21st century, people! But nah, Hungary’s morality police at it again, banning innocent shots of elderly LGBTQ folks just because they’re in drag. Real classy, Hungary, real classy.

And let’s talk about these narrow-minded politicians. Can’t see beyond their own noses, blinded by their own ignorance. They’re the danger here, not those beautiful souls expressing themselves. But hey, who cares about kindness and empathy, right? Certainly not the government. It’s like they’re living in a different reality.

I’ve seen those LGBTQ folks, you know. Sensitive, emotional – real human beings. But the politicians? Cold-hearted, judging without a clue. Sad that this is the first news you catch after coming home. Hungary, you disappoint.

And don’t even get me started on politics and love. They should go hand in hand, right? But nah, not in this twisted reality. Love and empathy? Lost in the political game. It’s a sick world when the ones in power can’t see the beauty in humanity. But hey, what can you expect from a place that’s missing the point so damn hard?
