Today as I was picking up my wife at her workplace, and as I was parking – I’m pretty bad at parking – I didn’t see that there was a car there as I was reversing, and I hit it.
I left my number under the windshield wiper, and the next day a man called me. I filled out the accident report, and soon the claims adjuster came and they paid for the damages.
The insurance covered their car, and I paid for the repairs myself. I’m not particularly concerned about my bonuses, that’s why I pay for insurance, so they should do something about it.
This event reminds me of the importance of taking personal responsibility and having adequate insurance coverage. For me, insurance provides financial protection and peace of mind during unforeseen circumstances, allowing for the timely resolution of damages. Prioritizing insurance coverage over my personal bonuses emphasizes the importance of being prepared for unexpected situations and fulfilling my obligations.
I have also learned that I should be more careful and cautious while parking because I do not want to make the same mistake again. I like it or not, parking is part of driving and I need to accept it.
