If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you choose to go and why?

Nowadays I am thinking about Alaska as the best place to live. First of all, its natural wilderness is beautiful – the snowy mountains, the lush pine forests just make the whole country marvellous. Secondly, I think it is a safe country – since it is cold there and it is up in the north, the density of population is not much. As a result, the rate of crime must be low. And thirdly, it belongs to the US, which means that it is a rich country. The fact that it’s a part of the US offers potential opportunities for a good standard of living.  I have not visited it yet, but I am interested to visit it one day if we had the opportunity. It is not a first priority though.

If I had to choose a different destination as my first priority, we would probably go to the Philippines, of course, as my wife’s family lives there. The Philippines is a lovely destination. If only it were cheaper to go there! For this reason, we sometimes go to another European country that is closer than the Philippines and cheaper, of course. Exploring different European countries can also be a great alternative, providing unique cultural experiences and affordability.
