My experience with the ketogenic diet: why I decided to quit

I was doing a ketogenic diet for weeks, following a special method, called ketogains. The problem is, my LDL, triglycerides, apo b and cholesterol levels skyrocketed like crazy, they were dangerously high. I don’t care if people say it can be normal during keto or it will be back to normal, I did not want to wait for that.

And as I said, I did clean keto, I did.

I stopped and now doing 70-80-90 grams of low GI carbs, 140 grams of protein, and 15 grams of fat diet and thanks God, slowly everything is going back to normal. For me, no way I will start this diet again. It works, sure, but for me, it is dangerous and will not take any risks.

In my opinion, while the ketogenic diet may be effective for some individuals, it may not be suitable for everyone. As I have experienced, some people may have adverse reactions to this diet, so it is good that I recognized the warning signs and acted accordingly.

The diet I am currently following appears to be a balanced and sustainable approach that provides my body with the necessary nutrients while minimizing the risk of adverse health effects.

I just try to prioritize health and well-being over any dietary or fitness goals. It is tempting to push myself to the limit in the pursuit of success, I must listen to my body and make choices that support my overall health and happiness.
