I read on The Guardian that Donald Trump’s had a social-media rampage after US election results.
Following a series of election wins by Democrats in the U.S., Trump posted 33 messages in under three hours on Truth Social, including AI-generated-video posts and book-promotion links — raising questions about platform governance and political communications.
To be honest, I am against social media. It should be controlled much more, especially among children. There was a time when I liked it and I was an active user but not anymore. Social media is incredibly toxic and has a bad effect on the mind. Sure, it delivers immediate news but you can access news on websites. Before social media, we got informed from websites or blogs. If you wanted some online company, you just went on forums but you did not cling onto the Internet all day.
I still believe in the power of personal blogs like mine. I know that I do not have audience and basically I am talking to myself but it is a great mental therapy for me. Furthermore, I just set my thoughts free. It is boring, yes. Because I am a boring, simple person but I am in peace with that.
This online space is enough for me. I do not want more. I do not want to be part of online communities. I just write this blog and it fulfills my longing for the online world.
