What I see is if you buy a new car, you have to throw away after 5 years because the replacement part costs more than the car itself. But of course, that’s what capitalism wants – buy a new car every 5 years! Of course, I know many people don’t care and gladly clap while getting ripped off! There’s no poverty here at all!
But they won’t mess with me, I’ll stick with old cars! And while that two-minute bulb change every few years costs me a few pennies, a damn complete LED lamp will cost you hundreds of euros!
Now that makes a difference!
You could even see halogen headlights well on the roads from the 1960s up to the early 2000s, and there was never any problem with them. But now there’s this LED hysteria. Boohoo.
Because you need the new. You need the LED. You need a screen on the seat too, so your butt won’t get bored! It better be touch-sensitive as well! Then you wonder why a 25-year-old Swift or Yaris overtakes you while your onboard computer is busy updating itself! Or your mileage subscription expired!
Let me tell you, if someone drives badly, they’ll die just as well with LED lights or ABS. Everyone thinks they’re immortal because the car will protect them. I’ve even seen Teslas wrecked beyond recognition!
If my bulb burns out, I can buy one at the store, it takes two minutes, done. No phone, mechanic, YouTube tutorial, coding, or praying needed! And if you buy a fancy “moving phone” (smart car), because you can and because you deserve it, you’ll get a big reality check when you slide into someone in winter, because even ABS can’t beat physics.
