Should I drink it?

There are a few cans of beer at home that I wouldn’t throw away for reasons of economy unless absolutely necessary. We are well aware that the prices of everything are rising, so people try to save in every possible way. This applies to food as well. Just think about the satisfaction we feel when unexpectedly discovering a package of flour, sugar, or cooking oil at home. And if there are multiples of these, we can potentially save a significant amount of money. However, here comes the question of what happens when the quality or expiration date of a particular product has already passed. In such a case, is the product still consumable? If not, what are the health consequences if someone still consumes it? The risk is present, so in this case, it’s better to consult someone with a better understanding of these matters. As the saying goes, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

So, what I found at home is Kőbánya beer, which expired in August 2023. The question is, is it still good? Can I drink it? I am neither a beer expert nor a biologist, but are there not bacteria formed in it after such a long time? I assume fermentation has some process. In this case, is there no over-fermentation? I wouldn’t even take the risk of having any mild digestive problems, so if there’s a possibility of this, I’ll have to get rid of the boxes.
