Submarine on expedition to Titanic wreckage missing with 5 aboard

I read in CBS News that the submersible Titan, carrying tourists to the wreck of the RMS Titanic, was reported missing, with the United States Coast Guard attempting to locate the missing vessel.

The capsule was incredibly small, causing me to feel claustrophobic just by looking at it. I couldn’t fathom submerging myself in such a confined space, and I find it hard to comprehend how others were able to do it. Despite my curiosity, I would never be convinced to descend and witness the Titanic firsthand. I can only imagine the ordeal those individuals must be enduring inside the capsule. It’s truly horrifying to think about their current situation.

The thought of them running out of oxygen and facing certain death is terrifying, and the suffering they would endure is unimaginable. It’s painful to even consider. Undoubtedly, they must have regretted countless times their decision to embark on this adventure.

Furthermore, I fail to understand how a company could be so reckless and irresponsible. It’s appalling that they prioritize money above all else, even at the risk of people’s lives. The fact that they are shielded by waivers, preventing any legal repercussions in the event of fatalities, is outrageous. It’s a despicable situation. My hope is that these individuals will be located and rescued as soon as possible.
