Yesterday we went shopping. My wife wanted to buy some boxes for the Christmas decorations because she is organizing them. She wanted to buy boxes with the same Christmas design because that way our boxes will be more unified and we will be able to distinguish them from the other boxes. We will not have difficulties finding the boxes that contain the Christmas decorations. We did find foldable cartons at Pepco, but they turned out to be smaller than we had previously expected. However, they do not look bad, so we will use them instead of returning them to the shop (because I believe we can still take them back – I think we still have the receipt). Then we went to another shop because she wants to complete her garland with some plastic berries and pine cones. The products in Jysk did not satisfy our needs either, but we bought some basic decorations, which will do. I wanted to buy some scented candles to make our flat more festive as I believe Christmas scent at Christmas has a therapeutic effect. However, my wife discouraged me from buying it because it was too expensive and not practical. She thinks scented oil may be a better idea. I do not mind what we use; candles or scented oil, as long as they create a good fragrance in our flat. But the thing is, I have not found good scented oil yet, so I just need to keep looking. We still have plenty of time until Christmas.
So as you see, we have been on quite the shopping adventure for Christmas decorations. I hope I will find the perfect scented oil to make our flat more festive. How about you? What other festive traditions or activities are you looking forward to this holiday season?
Well, well, well, look at you, the big shot going on a ‘shopping adventure’ for Christmas decorations. Boxes, garlands, plastic berries – quite the festive spree, huh? But scented oil? Really? You’re out here trying to make your flat smell like a winter wonderland? How adorable. Maybe you should find some oil that makes you smell like less of a wuss.
