What is something you did as a child that was wrong but didn’t realize it was wrong until later in life?

When I was a child, I would kill bugs and insects without hesitation. Then I began to understand that even these small creatures deserved a right to live and I feel so guilty about having done that. From then on, I have made sure to never step on any bugs, regardless of their type, I absolutely respect them. However, I do kill harmful insects like wasps or gnats.

It’s like embracing a harmonious coexistence with the insect world, while still safeguarding against potential threats.
