What life events can change the way of thinking?

I think accidents and diseases can seriously impact your life. If someone almost dies in an accident, I think the person will reevaluate things in life. If someone gets into the hospital because of a life-threatening disease and surgery is done on him, that is another event that can make the person value life more. When I was travelling to the college with one of my friend many years back, we also had an accident and I have had appreciated life more.

When I have a disease – fortunately I only have respiratory diseases, I panic a lot and I insist on a safe and peaceful life. Another thing that can change your way of thinking is a trip or travelling. Learning about other cultures can give you an insight into the difference between your life and life of other people’s around the world. You perhaps want to change things in your life you will appreciate things around you more.

So life-altering experiences such as accidents, diseases, and travel can lead to a shift in perspective and a greater appreciation for life and its intricacies. These experiences have the power to reshape our values and priorities, driving us to seek more purpose and meaning in our lives.
