Fortunately, I have never had serious injuries, only some minor ones.
I recall when I was a kid and we were on vacation at a resort. Our buddy was working at night as a security guard. We were horsing around and I attempted to climb up a high wall, but I made an awkward movement and felt my shoulders slip from their joint. It didn’t stay dislocated, but something strange occurred for a bit. Then, I shifted my shoulders again and it returned to normal.
After doing some research into what might be wrong, I figured out that I had strained my rotator cuff. Since then, I have been cautious of any movement in my shoulders. If I make a wrong move, I can strain it again, and it has a feeling like it gets dislocated.
The other injury I suffered was in a car accident with a friend that ended up being quite serious. My head had impacted the handlebar above the window, while the car was spinning around. Other than that, we luckily escaped unscathed.
Another time I was at home and my friends called me, and I started dashing down the stairs. I misstepped and sprained my right ankle. It was quite serious and the doctor advised that he would put a cast on it, just to be safe.
I also got some bruises from cycling but all in all, that was it but out of superstition, I knock it on wood.
