I find that neither at Lidl, nor at Aldi, nor at the National Tobacco Shop, nor in smaller stores can I find sweet red wine. Everywhere it’s just dry, dry, dry. After several trips to different stores, I finally managed to find some at Tesco, where there were only 3 bottles of a specific brand.
“We’re here, we’re here!” they jingled in delight as someone finally noticed them, eagerly waiting for me to take one of them home.
Without hesitation, I quickly took one from the shelf, held it close as if it were my child, and looked around to make sure no one would snatch it from my hand. Luckily, no one came my way, so I became the proud owner of a bottle. With a heavy heart, I had to leave them there, as unfortunately, I couldn’t afford more.
In Spar Express, there’s also only one type available, although I saw it there half a year ago; I’m not sure if they still have it. I dislike both the dry and the semi-sweet ones, and I don’t understand why only these are available.
So, what is going on here after all?!
