Why I would not buy an expensive car

I don’t think it’s a good idea for someone to buy a large SUV. Even if I had the money, it wouldn’t be an ideal situation.

Why?

Firstly, because the maintenance costs are very high. Then, if something breaks down, you should be grateful if you can get away with “just” a few hundred thousand for the repair, and not millions, which is common. Then, these crappy things stand in the service centers in the mountains, which is pitiful, especially because of their terrible electronics, and on top of that, the cost of the parts is astronomical.

On the other hand, if you have a Suzuki Swift, an Opel Corsa, or a Toyota Yaris, you won’t have a headache and you won’t have to worry, because while with the premium crap you will have to pay several hundred thousand for something, with these cars, it will only be a few tens of thousands, and while it’s a million for the premium ones, it’s only 1-2-3 hundred thousand for these cars.

Furthermore, large SUVs are not very practical for everyday use, especially in urban areas where parking spaces are limited. Maneuvering through narrow streets and crowded parking lots can be a real hassle with a large vehicle. In addition, they consume a lot of fuel and emit more CO2 than smaller cars, contributing to air pollution and climate change.

On the other hand, smaller cars are much more fuel-efficient, emit less pollution, and are easier to maneuver in tight spaces. They are also more affordable, both in terms of purchase price and maintenance costs. Not to mention that they are much better suited for everyday use.
